Accreditation,

Authorization,

and Legal Status

Institutional Authorization

Continental Christian University is a private, religious postsecondary institution based in Florida. We are authorized to operate and grant degrees under Section 1005.06(1)(f), Florida Statutes.

As a religious institution, we are exempt from the jurisdiction of the Florida Commission for Independent Education and are not required to be licensed by the State of Florida. This exemption is maintained annually through a sworn affidavit filed with the Department of Education.

Ecclesiastical Sovereignty and the Non-Secular Academic Mandate

Continental Christian University operates under a paradigm of Ecclesiastical Sovereignty, asserting that the pedagogical study of Biblical Botany is an inherently spiritual endeavor. As such, the University has made a formal, strategic election to remain independent of regional or national accreditation agencies recognized by the United States Department of Education. This decision is predicated on the conviction that the metrics utilized by secular accrediting bodies are insufficient to evaluate the profundity of creation-based theology. By maintaining this autonomy, the University ensures that its curriculum remains untethered from secular mandates, preserving the sanctity and doctrinal integrity of our instructional modules.

Jurisdictional Limitations and the Prerogative of Credit Transferability

It is incumbent upon the prospective scholar to acknowledge the Jurisdictional Limitations inherent in a specialized religious degree. Degrees conferred by this University are explicitly categorized as preparation for religious vocations; they are not designed to satisfy the prerequisites for secular professional licensure or civil employment. Furthermore, the Prerogative of Credit Transferability resides exclusively with the receiving institution. Continental Christian University offers no warranty, expressed or implied, that credits accrued within our specialized curriculum will be recognized by secular colleges or universities. Students are encouraged to pursue enrollment with the understanding that their academic achievements are optimized for the advancement of the Faith and the stewardship of Creation.

Territorial Jurisdiction and the Global Digital Campus

Continental Christian University is a centralized academic body established under the laws of the State of Florida. While the University’s administrative and instructional operations utilize sophisticated digital infrastructure to reach a global constituency, its Legal Situs remains exclusively within the Florida jurisdiction. The University does not seek, nor does it require, individual licensure or "Doing Business As" authorization from the diverse departments of education across various states or international territories. By enrolling in our programs, the scholar acknowledges that they are entering into a digital campus governed by Florida’s Ecclesiastical Exemptions. The University’s physical presence in any specific locale is purely administrative; the academic and legal heart of the institution resides within the protected religious framework of its home state, ensuring a unified and consistent standard of instruction regardless of the student's geographic coordinates.

“Education is the pursuit of wisdom, not the collection of permissions. We remain unencumbered by the world, that we might be entirely devoted to the Word.”
